Invisalign treatment is a new form of orthodontic treatment
A completely custom-made mouthpiece is used to improve the alignment of teeth by moving each tooth individually, precisely and slowly. It is discreet, removable, painless, and a “completely new orthodontic treatment” that differs from conventional wire orthodontic treatment.
The precision and safety are much higher than those of conventional orthodontic treatment. Therefore, if we were to treat our family, friends, or other loved ones, we would no longer use wire braces.
Features of our Invisalign treatment
1. Preliminary examination for correct diagnosis.
The key to successful treatment is to determine the direction of treatment with a correct diagnosis and to follow the diagnosis. In order to make a correct diagnosis, our clinic takes the time to conduct a thorough examination, verification, and treatment planning process.
2.We aim to provide safe,world-class precision treatment.
Our director himself is responsible for designing the mouthpiece for our patients. Furthermore, in order to ensure the best objective tooth movement, we are supervised by one of the few Invisalign faculty* in Japan. This realizes more precise treatment.
*Faculty are dentists who are in a position to supervise Invisalign treatment, which is recognized by Align Technology, Inc. of the United States, the company that develops Invisalign treatment. It is said that there are only about 20 Invisalign doctors in Japan, or about 0.2% of all Invisalign doctors, so to speak. Our clinic is prepared under the supervision of one of the faculty members, Dr. Hiroshi Samoto of Aoyama R Dentistry.
3.Use of the highest grade “Invisalign Complicensibles”.
We use Invisalign Compliency, the top-of-the-line model of Invisalign treatment, which allows the mouthpiece to be redesigned as many times as needed during the first five years of treatment.
If you have a “regression*”, you can have the treatment done again within 5 years.
What is “ Regression”?
Retroversion is when teeth that have been moved during orthodontic treatment return to their original position.
4.Orthodontic treatment with as few extractions as possible
We try to avoid extracting premolars as much as possible.
With wire braces, the extraction of premolars has long been a common method, but there is a risk that the teeth will come out of the bone. With custom-made Invisalign treatment, extraction can be avoided in many cases.
*“Wisdom teeth” must be extracted at the appropriate time.
5.Treatment that respects the individuality of each person

*For difficult cases, it may not be possible to make a decision until CT x-rays, panoramic x-rays, and intraoral scans are done first, and Invisalign is asked to create a simulation and actually design it. The actual cost of creating the simulation will be 29,000 yen. Please note that Invisalign Inc. does not have a cooling-off system and there are no refunds in case of cancellation.

About retention
Even after treatment is completed, teeth are subjected to various forces in daily life. In order to keep the teeth in alignment after treatment, it is important to “retain” them in that state for a certain period of time. We will check up on the retentive appliance several times a year.

Based on our philosophy of “eliminating overcutting caries treatment and over-extraction orthodontic treatment,” we pursue “custom-made orthodontics” to achieve a dental alignment that suits each patient’s individuality.
We introduced the Invisalign system in 2012 and have refined our techniques through trial and error, starting with family members and staff. Many cases that required the extraction of bicuspids in conventional wire orthodontics can now be treated without extraction with Invisalign. Also, when we introduced Invisalign First for children, we started treatment with the children of our staff and achieved good results.
Now we are able to utilize digital data for more precise treatment planning. We will continue to promote safe custom-made orthodontics that values individuality.
